Instructors

Nathalie Thompson is a Supreme Court of Virginia certified mentor mediator and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with expertise in team/executive/conflict coaching, conflict resolution, leadership, and team development. She has over 25 years of experience mediating, designing, developing, and facilitating meetings and leadership training programs for thousands of managers and executives in the Communication, Hospitality, Government, Outplacement, Profit, and Nonprofit industries. Her international facilitation experience includes China, Armenia, Thailand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, and the Caribbean. 

 

MS. Thompson focuses on creating a connected world through caring, curiosity, and dialogue.  Nathalie develops collaborative relationships with clients by creating safe spaces for dialogue where they can share and explore –to discern their needs and desired goals and outcomes. In addition, she provides specialized training in the areas of dispute resolution, conflict management, coaching, team building, communication, resilience, and relationship awareness.

 

Ms. Thompson earned a BA in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Marymount University. Nathalie is an SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional). She also holds a certificate in Applied Positive Psychology from The Flourishing Center. She holds several coaching certifications: Executive Leadership Coaching -at Georgetown University, Team Coaching – at Corentus, Conflict Coaching – At Conflict Coaching Matters, and Resilient Leadership Coaching at Resilient Leadership. She has completed over 200 hours of Restorative Justice and STAR Trauma Healing coursework with Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, VA.       She is also an Ombuds and member of the International Association of Ombuds (IOA).
