Trainer Rachel King

Rachel King is an experienced restorative justice facilitator and trainer specializing in issues of harassment and sexual misconduct in higher education. With 20 years in conflict resolution, college student conduct and administration, Rachel brings experience investigating and resolving hundreds of sexual misconduct cases involving college students, middle and high schools students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, Rachel is an active facilitator with Communities for Restorative Justice, a Massachusetts-based non-profit that takes criminal referrals from police departments and district attorneys offices across the state. Rachel provides training to schools around the country on how to take a restorative approach to cases of sexual misconduct through the Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women campus grant program. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester, a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Boston College, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. She completed mediation training through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Ombuds Office and received training as a Restorative Justice facilitator at the Longmont Community Justice Partnership in Colorado.

Cancellation Policy

NVMS Conflict Resolution Center is committed to providing high-quality training experience. To ensure the integrity and sustainability of our programs, the following cancellation and refund policy applies:

Participants must notify NVMS of their intent to withdraw in writing via email to [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of written confirmation of withdrawal. If a participant cancels their registration, the refund amount will depend on the timing of the cancellation. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of registration, a refund will be issued minus a 5% fee to cover third-party merchant and administrative costs. If cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the training, a 25% cancellation fee applies. If cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the training, a 65% cancellation fee applies. No refund will be given if no notice of cancellation is provided. If NVMS Conflict Resolution Center cancels the training for any reason, all participants will receive a full refund of any payments made. Alternatively, participants may choose to apply the amount paid as credit toward future training.
